# Senior Mechanical Engineer - MEP **Aalco Group** · Doha · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: сегодня* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer – MEP to lead and supervise mechanical MEP activities across project execution, from engineering and installation through testing, commissioning and handover. Key Responsibilities: o Lead and supervise all mechanical MEP site activities. o Manage HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, chilled water, ductwork and other mechanical systems. o Review and coordinate shop drawings, material submittals, method statement, ITPs, technical documents and as-built drawings. o Coordinate mechanical works with civil, electrical, architectural, structural, ELV and BMS disciplines. o Supervise subcontractors, manpower, materials and site resources. o Monitor project progress, schedules and manpower requirements. o Coordinate inspections, testing, commissioning and final handover of mechanical systems. o Resolve technical issues, site constraints and MEP coordination/clash issues. o Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and relevant authorities. o Ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, QCS, applicable international standards, QA/QC and HSE requirements. o Support variation, additional works, technical queries and other project/commercial requirements. o Lead and guide Supervisors, Foremen and technicians. o Experienced in project close out documentations. Key Requirements: o Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. o Minimum 10–12 years of relevant MEP experience. o Strong hands-on experience in HVAC, plumbing and firefighting systems. o Proven experience in mechanical MEP site execution, coordination, testing and commissioning. o Strong knowledge of mechanical drawings, specifications, method statements and ITPs. o Experience in managing subcontractors, manpower and project resources. o Good knowledge of QCS, ASHRAE, NFPA, SMACNA, CIBSE and other applicable standards. o Strong client/consultant coordination and problem-solving skills. o Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; knowledge of Revit/Navisworks is an advantage. o Qatar/GCC project experience is preferred.
