Alucor is looking for an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our power plant projects team in the UAE.

You'll own the mechanical scope across the full project cycle - from document review and procurement support through vendor management, site installation, and pre-commissioning.

What you'll do:

Review vendor documents, datasheets, GA drawings, P&IDs and ITPs

Prepare scopes of work, RFQ packages, BOQs and material take-offs

Run technical bid evaluations and vendor compliance reviews

Support site installation of equipment and piping - method statements, punch lists, coordination

Follow up vendor engineering, manufacturing, FATs and inspections

Support pre-commissioning: flushing, hydrotesting and handover documentation

What we're looking for:

B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering

7+ years in EPC / power plant / oil & gas projects

Power plant construction site experience essential

Hands-on with rotating equipment, static equipment, valves & piping systems

Strong vendor management experience (bid evaluation, expediting, FAT)

Proficient in P&IDs, isometrics and GA drawings

UAE/GCC project experience preferred

Salary: AED 12,000 – 20,000 per month

Location: UAE | Full-Time
