# Senior Mechanical Draftsman – HVAC Focus **Cameo Global Communications Pvt Ltd** · Abu Dhabi · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 6 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Candidate Requirements: · Minimum 7 years of experience as a Mechanical Draftsman preferably 8–10+ years. · Must have major experience in HVAC drafting and coordination within MEP contracting projects. · Minimum 4–5 years of UAE/GCC experience with an MEP contracting company is strongly preferred. · Proven ability to independently prepare mechanical shop drawings, coordination drawings and as-built drawings. · Strong experience in major MEP construction projects in the UAE. · Excellent command of AutoCAD 2D is mandatory. · Good knowledge of Revit MEP/BIM is highly preferred. · Strong practical knowledge of HVAC systems, including chilled-water systems, DX systems, VRF/VRV, ductwork, ventilation, exhaust and condensate drainage systems. · Good understanding of other mechanical services, particularly plumbing and firefighting systems for MEP coordination purposes. · Strong understanding of HVAC equipment layouts, duct and pipe routing, elevations, sections, risers and installation details. · Ability to coordinate mechanical services with electrical, plumbing, firefighting, architectural and structural disciplines. · Strong understanding of ceiling coordination and the ability to identify and resolve MEP clashes. · Ability to review IFC/design drawings and identify discrepancies, coordination issues and missing information. · Experience incorporating consultant comments, RFIs, design changes and approved material/equipment requirements into shop drawings. · Strong understanding of actual site installation requirements, access clearances and constructability. · Ability to coordinate directly with Mechanical Engineers, MEP Engineers, site teams and other disciplines. · Experience preparing builders-work requirements, sleeves, openings, equipment foundations and related details. · Ability to conduct site verification and prepare accurate as-built drawings. · Capable of handling assigned projects with minimal supervision while meeting drawing and submission deadlines. · Diploma or technical qualification in Mechanical Engineering, HVAC, Mechanical Drafting or a related field. · Candidates with Abu Dhabi/UAE project experience will be given preference. · Must be available to join immediately. Preferred Candidate Profile · We are looking for a Senior Mechanical Draftsman with extensive HVAC experience and strong MEP contracting and site coordination knowledge. · The candidate's primary area of expertise should be HVAC , while also having sufficient knowledge of plumbing, firefighting and other MEP services to perform effective multidisciplinary coordination. · The successful candidate should be capable of receiving IFC/design drawings and independently developing them into fully coordinated and constructible mechanical/HVAC shop drawings suitable for site execution. · The candidate should be able to identify coordination issues before they reach the site, propose practical routing solutions, coordinate with other MEP disciplines and efficiently incorporate consultant and site comments. · The ideal candidate should be proactive, technically strong, site-oriented and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. · Immediate availability is a key requirement for this position. Salary : AED 10,000+ per month The final salary will depend on UAE/GCC experience, HVAC expertise, technical capability, project experience, AutoCAD/Revit proficiency and performance during the technical assessment. A higher package may be considered for exceptional candidates with extensive UAE MEP contracting experience and strong HVAC/mechanical coordination capabilities.
