Senior Mechanic - Mobile Cranes

We are looking for a skilled Senior Mechanic to lead the maintenance, repair, and overhaul of our Mobile Crane fleet. You will diagnose complex faults, carry out major repairs, and guide junior mechanics to keep equipment safe, productive, and running with minimal downtime.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical faults on heavy equipment (Mobile cranes, trailers, etc.)
• Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance and major overhauls of engines, transmissions, final drives, and undercarriages
• Perform field and workshop repairs, including emergency breakdown response
• Read and interpret technical manuals, hydraulic schematics, and wiring diagrams
• Use diagnostic tools and software to identify faults accurately
• Supervise, train, and mentor junior mechanics and helpers
• Maintain service records, inspection reports, and maintenance schedules
• Manage spare parts requirements and coordinate with procurement and suppliers
• Ensure all work follows HSE standards, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies
• Advise management on repair vs. replacement decisions and recurring equipment issues

Requirements

• Minimum [8-10] years of hands-on experience in heavy machinery maintenance, with at least [2-3] years in a senior or supervisory role
• Diploma or certificate in Mechanical / Heavy Equipment Technology (or equivalent trade qualification)
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and heavy equipment transmissions
• Experience with major brands such as Liebherr, Sany, Riggo etc.
• Ability to use diagnostic tools and welding and cutting equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Valid UAE driving license is an advantage
• Good communication skills in English; Arabic/Hindi/Urdu is a plus
• Willingness to work on site, in workshops, and on call when needed

Pay: AED2,500.00 - AED5,000.00 per month
