Senior Manager/ Manager of Corporate Business - General Insurance Company

About the role

As a Senior Manager, you will lead and drive the marketing strategy for our General Insurance Corporate Business. You will be responsible for developing comprehensive marketing plans and collaborating across departments to deliver impactful results that support business growth and company goals.

Key responsibilities

Report to the Department Head and serve corporate accounts independently, working closely with brokers and reinsurers

Underwrite and manage the growth of Corporate Business within UW guidelines and authorities

Identify growth opportunities and drive desired results of GI business to achieve business plan (new and retention)

Manage and mentor junior team members to solve problems proactively, ensuring business and workflow alignment with company goals, guidelines, service standards and regulatory requirements

Establish and maintain good relationships with clients and business partners to strengthen cooperation and business development

Monitor business performance metrics and produce reports for senior management

Collaborate across functions to deliver integrated marketing initiatives, develop online platforms and assist in ad-hoc projects and duties as assigned by the Head

About you

Proven experience in developing successful business strategies; strong broker and client relationship management, good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with good understanding of the GI market

Holder of IIQE Paper 1 and 2 Certificates and holder or progress in professional qualification in Insurance (e.g. CII or ANZIIF, etc.) would be an asset

University graduate with minimum 7 years of working experience within General Insurance field in handling insurance of sizeable corporate clients and/or reinsurance business

Self-motivated, outgoing and sociable character, able to work independently and meet deadlines

Proactive, team-oriented, and able to collaborate across functions

Full-time
