About the Role

I’m supporting a leading financial institution in Dubai with the appointment of a Senior Manager, Digital Products within its Digital Wealth and Investments business.

This is a senior product role sitting directly between investment products and technology.

The business is developing its digital investment and trading proposition across US equities, virtual assets, mutual funds and other investment products.

The successful individual will take ownership of complex digital product initiatives, translating commercial and investment requirements into technology solutions and working closely with engineering teams through to delivery.

Responsibilities

• Own digital investment and trading products from requirements through to launch
• Translate business requirements into clear technology deliverables
• Work closely with engineering teams across APIs, integrations, architecture and platform development
• Challenge technical solutions, estimates, dependencies and delivery timelines
• Support the continued development of digital wealth and investment capabilities
• Manage multiple stakeholders across Product, Technology, Risk, Compliance and the wider business

Required Skills

• Strong Product Owner or Product Management experience within banking, fintech, wealth, investments, brokerage or trading
• Good knowledge of investment products, ideally including equities, ETFs, mutual funds, bonds, structured products and/or virtual & digital assets
• Experience delivering investment, trading, brokerage or wealth technology platforms
• Strong understanding of APIs, integrations and technology delivery
• Core banking exposure would be highly desirable
• UAE or wider GCC experience
• The ability to operate confidently between senior business stakeholders and technical engineering teams
• Previous software development or coding experience would be particularly valuable.

The sweet spot is someone who genuinely understands investment products but is also technically strong enough to challenge engineering teams and understand what can realistically be delivered.
