Senior Logistics Executive - Arabic Speaker

We are looking for an experienced and results-driven Senior Logistics Executive - Arabic Speaker to join our team. The ideal candidate must have strong expertise in international logistics, freight operations, cost analysis, rate negotiation, and shipment planning.

Key Requirements & Competencies:

• At least 5 years of relevant experience in international logistics and freight operations.
• Ability to prepare and review freight cost calculations, including freight rates, origin and destination charges, surcharges, customs-related costs, and delivery charges.
• Good understanding of sea, air, and road freight cost factors, including chargeable weight, cargo volume, and container utilization.
• Ability to compare freight quotations on a like-for-like basis, identify missing or unclear charges, and evaluate overall costs and services offered.
• Confidence in negotiating rates and service terms with freight forwarders, carriers, and transport providers.
• Ability to assess shipment requirements and select suitable transport modes, equipment, and routes based on cargo dimensions, weight, urgency, cost, and delivery constraints.
• Experience in planning international routes and transit arrangements, including transshipment and cross-border movements. Knowledge of Iraq-bound routes and border procedures will be an advantage.
• Strong logical and analytical thinking, planning, prioritization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously and effectively resolve delays and operational challenges.
• Arabic speakers are preferred.
