A Day in the Life

This role is responsible for designing, developing, and supporting Virtual Assistant platform technologies, including chat routing middleware and web chat applications. The individual will create technical designs, develop and test code, support system implementations, and maintain application performance and reliability. They will serve as an escalation point for complex incidents and problems, perform root cause analysis, and collaborate with infrastructure teams on DNS, load balancers, and network-related configurations. The role requires experience with cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and modern development frameworks. Success in this position depends on strong troubleshooting, integration, mentoring, documentation, and communication skills, along with a passion for delivering scalable, enterprise-grade solutions.

Responsibilities may include the following:

• Design, develop, and support virtual assistant and conversational AI solutions.
• Build and maintain integrations using REST APIs, WebSockets, and enterprise applications.
• Develop, test, debug, and document software solutions and platform enhancements.
• Monitor platform performance, availability, and reliability.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and serve as an escalation point for support teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, vendors, and IT teams to deliver scalable solutions.
• Support deployments, migrations, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required Knowledge and experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Fluent English level
• 5 years of experience in software development and application support.
• 2 years of experience with Node.js, TypeScript, Docker, and related technologies.
• Experience developing and supporting cloud-based applications and services.
• Experience with API integrations and modern application architectures.
• Experience using Git and CI/CD deployment processes.
• Experience with Conversational AI, Virtual Assistant, or Contact Center technologies preferred.
• Experience working in Agile environments and cross-functional teams preferred
