We help them get investment-ready, connect them to other donors in our network, and work alongside them as they scale to reach millions of people. To date, we have disbursed more than $300 million across grants and impact investments. What you’ll do As an Analyst, you will be right in the middle of this work, understanding how we assess new opportunities, make funding decisions, and deepen our confidence in the impact they are creating. You will: Work closely with our Investment Principals, supporting due diligence on organisations in our portfolio and taking on growing ownership as you settle into the role. Be a genuine contributor to the team, drafting reports that get to the heart of how interventions work, the teams behind them, and how the right growth strategy can lead to long-lasting impact. Write first drafts of investment memos and analyse key metrics across financials, operations, and impact. Collect diligence materials, track milestones against actuals, and join calls with established social entrepreneurs to gain real exposure to how we identify and support social ventures. This role follows a clear structure aimed at building you into a well-rounded Investment Analyst. You will receive hands-on guidance, be challenged to make and defend clear recommendations, and gain exposure to some of the world’s best entrepreneurs. What we are looking for What we do is a rare blend of startup investing, financial analysis, behavioural science, and impact evaluation. We are looking for someone who: Has an innate curiosity about how the world works and enjoys crafting a beautifully written paragraph. Can think numerically, loves debating a point of view, and has a university degree with 2+ years of experience in rigorous analytical environments. Is confident analysing data, summarising key findings, spotting patterns, and extracting what matters even when information is imperfect. Has strong written communication skills and an obsessive eye for detail. Can keep the bigger picture in mind while remaining detail-oriented, is comfortable working independently, and is willing to pitch in extra hours during busy periods. Above all, is enthused about doing high-quality work. This is a full-time job. You will work at Jasmine’s office in Auckland’s CBD and report to the Investment Principal.
