Senior Investment Accountant

TalentScript is recruiting a Senior Investment Accountant for a Kuwait-based holding company. You’ll join a small finance team and personally handle investment accounting across several group entities, from recording transactions to reporting them in the financial statements.

What you’ll do

• Record investment purchases, disposals, dividend income and related gains or losses.
• Reconcile investment balances against supporting statements and investigate differences before month-end close.
• Prepare IFRS financial statements for assigned entities and support intercompany reconciliations and group consolidation.
• Prepare investment schedules for external auditors and respond to audit queries.

What you’ll bring

• At least four years of accounting experience, including hands-on responsibility for recording and reconciling investment transactions .
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance and a completed CA, CPA, ACCA or CMA qualification.
• Practical IFRS and multi-entity accounting experience. Microsoft Dynamics experience is a plus.
