What This Role Is About

Our client, a mid-sized conglomerate with business operations across the GCC, is looking for a Senior IT Manager, based in Sharjah, to lead its IT function and support the organisation’s technology needs across the region.

The role will oversee IT operations, infrastructure, systems, and technology initiatives across the Group. You will work with business leadership to ensure reliable IT services, strengthen technology capabilities, and identify opportunities to improve systems and processes.

This is a senior management position for an IT professional who can take ownership of the technology function, manage regional requirements, and align IT priorities with the wider business strategy.

The Client’s Definition of the Ideal Fit

• 10+ years of IT experience, including significant experience in a senior IT management role
• Experience overseeing IT operations across multiple business units or locations
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, systems administration, networks, and cybersecurity
• Experience managing IT projects, technology implementations, and digital transformation initiatives
• Ability to develop and manage IT budgets, resources, and external service providers
• Experience establishing IT policies, procedures, and governance frameworks
• Strong leadership skills with experience managing IT teams
• Ability to engage with senior stakeholders and translate business requirements into practical technology solutions
