About the mission we offer you: Job Purpose The Senior HVAC Engineer is responsible for the design, engineering, analysis, and execution support of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) systems for onshore and offshore oil & gas, petrochemical, energy, and industrial projects. The role ensures compliance with international standards, client specifications, and project requirements throughout FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, and commissioning phases. Key Responsibilities Engineering & Design Lead the design and development of HVAC systems for industrial, commercial, and oil & gas facilities. Prepare HVAC design calculations, equipment sizing, ventilation studies, heat load calculations, and pressure loss calculations. Develop HVAC system layouts, duct routing, equipment arrangements, and airflow distribution plans. Prepare and review HVAC engineering deliverables including: Design Basis Memorandum HVAC Philosophies Equipment Datasheets Technical Specifications Material Requisitions HVAC Drawings MTOs (Material Take-Offs) Perform HVAC system simulations and analyses using industry-standard software. Project Execution Participate in FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, Brownfield, and Greenfield projects. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including Mechanical, Process, Electrical, Instrumentation, Structural, and Piping disciplines. Support procurement activities, technical bid evaluations, and vendor document reviews. Review vendor packages and ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards. Provide technical support during fabrication, installation, construction, pre-commissioning, and commissioning activities. Compliance & Quality Ensure all HVAC designs comply with: ASHRAE SMACNA NFPA ISO Standards Local Authority Regulations Client Specifications Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, Design Reviews, and Model Reviews. Ensure adherence to project quality management systems and engineering procedures. Leadership & Coordination Mentor junior HVAC engineers and designers. Coordinate discipline activities to meet project schedules and deliverables. Interface with clients, consultants, contractors, and vendors on technical matters. Participate in project meetings and provide engineering expertise throughout project execution. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Master's Degree is an advantage. Professional Engineer (PE) or equivalent certification is preferred. Experience Minimum 14 to 20 years of HVAC engineering experience. Proven experience in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Energy, Refinery, LNG, and Industrial projects . Strong exposure to FEED, Detailed Engineering, EPC, Brownfield, and Greenfield project environments . Demonstrated experience in leading HVAC engineering activities for large-scale projects and managing multidisciplinary coordination. Hands-on experience in vendor package review, technical bid evaluations, procurement support, construction support, and commissioning activities. Previous experience working on ADNOC, Saudi Aramco, QatarEnergy, PDO, or other Middle East energy sector projects is highly preferred. Experience in both onshore and offshore facilities is an advantage. Proven track record of supervising and mentoring junior engineers and designers. This experience range positions the role as a Senior HVAC Engineer / Lead HVAC Engineer suitable for major EPC contractors, engineering consultancies, and owner-operator organizations in the oil & gas sector.
