# Senior HIS Implementer **MILLENSYS** · Cairo · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Senior HIS Implementer to lead the deployment, configuration, optimization, and support of our Hospital Information System (HIS) modules across customer healthcare facilities. You will analyze complex clinical and administrative workflows, bridge operational gaps, and mentor junior implementation engineers. Employment Type: Full Time - On-site Key Responsibilities & Job Description: - HIS Implementation & Configuration: Lead the implementation, configuration, deployment, and optimization of HIS modules according to hospital workflows and project requirements. - Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Resolve complex technical and functional issues, perform root-cause analysis, and provide effective solutions while supporting junior engineers. - Healthcare Workflow Analysis: Analyze clinical and administrative workflows, identify operational gaps, and recommend system improvements to enhance efficiency. - System Integration & Maintenance: Support system customization, integration with ERP, RIS, PACS, and other systems, as well as upgrades, patches, and maintenance. - Testing & Go-Live: Lead functional testing, validate configurations, ensure issue resolution, and support system deployment and go-live activities. - User Training & Customer Support: Deliver advanced user training and provide on-site or remote support according to project and customer requirements. - Database & System Performance: Troubleshoot database-related issues, monitor system performance, and recommend improvements to ensure system stability and reliability. - Documentation & Compliance: Maintain technical documentation and project reports while adhering to applicable healthcare data security, privacy, and confidentiality requirements. - Team Collaboration & Mentoring: Coordinate with the HIS Team Leader, project managers, and technical teams, and mentor junior engineers to ensure successful project delivery. Job Requirements & Qualifications: - HIS Expertise: Strong knowledge of HIS modules and hospital clinical and administrative workflows, including OPD, Admission, Inpatient, Pharmacy, Laboratory, and Billing. - Technical & Database Skills: Strong troubleshooting and system configuration skills, with practical knowledge of databases, SQL, and system integration. - Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex issues, identify root causes, and implement effective technical and functional solutions. - Implementation & Testing: Proven ability to execute HIS implementations, upgrades, system testing, and go-live activities. - Healthcare Integration Standards: Understanding of healthcare interoperability standards, preferably HL7, and familiarity with ERP, RIS, and PACS integration. - Communication & Training: Strong communication skills and the ability to train users, manage customer requirements, and provide professional technical support. - Leadership & Teamwork: Ability to mentor junior engineers and collaborate effectively with technical teams, project managers, and hospital departments. - Documentation & Flexibility: Ability to maintain accurate technical records and work from the company office, remotely, or at customer sites as required. Educational Qualifications & Experience: - Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field. - Experience: Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in Information Technology, Health Informatics, and Database Systems, preferably in HIS implementation and support within the healthcare sector. - Preferred Experience: Hands-on experience in hospital workflow configuration, database troubleshooting, system integration, and customer go-live support.
