Senior Fund Accountant, Asset Custody Department
Responsibilities: Perform fund accounting activities, including Net Asset Value (NAV) calculations, reconciliations, and preparation of financial reports; Process fund transactions accurately and in a timely manner, including subscriptions, redemptions, capital calls, distributions, transfers etc; Recommend operations flow on fund administration, including process engineering and preparation of the standard operating procedure and due diligent papers; Familiar with valuation method like series accounting and equalization, calculation method of performance fees, etc.; Liaise with investment manager, brokers, custodians, auditors on various fund operations task; Handle daily enquiries from our clients, service providers and business partners; New clients' on-boarding and advisory on compliance with latest regulatory requirements as and when required. Oversight and guide cross boarder outsourcing team,be responsible of their deliverable. Collaborate with internal teams to identify and resolve accounting and operational issue Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements and internal policies. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree with accounting background with 3 to 5 years of experience in fund accounting or administration is preferred, member/qualified member of HKICPA or equivalent is an advantage; Participate in fund operations related projects, such as system deployment and enhancement of policies & procedures; Eager to learn, self-motivated, attention to details with organizational and analytical skills; Excellent problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills, ability to prioritize multiple tasks in the fast-paced environment. Good command of written and spoken in English, Cantonese and Putonghua. Familiar with fund accounting system is a plus Basic knowledge of fund structure such as HK UT、Cayman SPC、ELP、 Hongkong OFC etc as well as fund accounting processes. Full-time
