Prepare standards-based high-level and detailed technical designs covering solutions, applications, databases, integrations, and application programming interfaces (APIs), in collaboration with technical leaders and project teams. Resolve incidents and the most complex or challenging technical issues escalated from L1 and L2 support teams. Conduct thorough root cause analysis to identify underlying causes of recurring problems and implement permanent solutions to prevent future occurrences. Perform proactive problem prevention activities and continuously improve system stability and reliability. Analyze and debug code to identify and resolve software defects, collaborating with development teams as required. Develop and deploy scripts, patches, and updates to address identified issues while ensuring proper implementation and testing. Collaborate with support teams, development teams, and vendors to resolve complex technical issues and communicate technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Document troubleshooting procedures, solutions, and technical information to establish and maintain a knowledge base for future reference and knowledge transfer. Implement solutions to automate support processes through AI tools, chatbots, and other emerging technologies. Participate in product backlog grooming and Scrum events, including Sprint Planning, Solution Development, Daily Stand-Ups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives, or Kanban events such as Replenishment, Daily Stand-Ups, and Service Delivery Reviews. Participate in iterative product backlog item elaboration, coding, building, unit testing, defect resolution, deployment, and release/support activities for epics, products, and features. Ensure code committed to deployment pipelines meets quality and functional requirements by applying behavior-driven development (BDD) and test-driven development (TDD) practices, including comprehensive code validation and automated unit testing. Participate in research and innovation initiatives to evaluate new technologies and improve existing development and support practices. Occasionally perform the role of Sprint Lead when nominated by the team. Perform other relevant tasks and responsibilities as assigned. Requirements and QualificationsEducation Requirements Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant Experience and Other Requirements Demonstrated ability to undertake the responsibilities of the role at the required level. At least three (3) years of experience in a senior developer role. At least five (5) years of experience in architecture, design, and development of integrated systems. Experience in production support, hotfixes, and L3 technical support. Experience with ServiceNow is preferred. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills. Proven experience developing web-based applications and RESTful web services. Strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, XML, Stylesheets, and ReactJS. Proven experience with SharePoint and development of SPFx applications. Proven experience designing, developing, and deploying Web APIs using .NET Core and C#. Experience with relational databases such as Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, and other database technologies. Experience with Azure DevOps, including Boards, Test Plans, Repos/Git, and Pipelines, is preferred. Experience integrating and developing Generative AI agents is preferred. Experience working with Azure Cloud Services is an advantage. Experience with CI/CD pipelines and YAML is an advantage. Proven experience working in Agile environments, including Scrum or Kanban. Certifications in Secure Coding, Scrum, or DevOps are an advantage. Experience working effectively within teams of five (5) or more members. Ability to work effectively within large, complex, information-driven organizations and interact professionally with senior executives and stakeholders from diverse backgrounds. Excellent oral and written communication skills in English. Reporting and Coordination The successful candidate will take direction from the designated Product Lead or Project Manager and work closely with the project team, technical teams, business stakeholders, and external partners. The successful candidate will provide technical guidance, support, and coordination across development, production support, and project activities. The successful candidate will perform other related services and responsibilities as required by the project or management.
