# Senior Full Stack Engineer **Hydron Holdings** · Kuala Lumpur · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: сегодня* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Responsibilities Design, develop, and maintain scalable RESTful API services using Python within a cloud-native AWS environment, leveraging technologies such as Lambda, API Gateway, Serverless Framework, Event Bridge, SQS, and DynamoDB. Building modern frontend applications using contemporary frameworks like Vue.js and Svelte, ensuring responsive, performant, and maintainable user interfaces. Lead and drive the migration of legacy monolithic PHP applications into serverless microservices, defining migration strategies, establishing patterns, and ensuring minimal disruption to existing business operations. Maintain and support legacy PHP applications during transitional phases, ensuring system stability, performance, and business continuity while progressively modernising the codebase. Collaborate closely with the Tech Lead to define, document, and champion architectural decisions, proactively exploring and evaluating emerging technologies to meet evolving product and engineering requirements. Take end-to-end ownership of features and projects — from ideation and technical design through development, deployment, and ongoing support — ensuring delivery quality and operational reliability. Propose scalable, maintainable, and cost-effective solutions by evaluating trade-offs and making informed engineering decisions that directly impact product outcomes. Actively contribute to team practices through agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, retrospectives, and code reviews, promoting a culture of continuous improvement, knowledge sharing, and engineering excellence. Collaborate cross-functionally with BA, UI/UX designers, QA engineers, DevOps, and other stakeholders to ensure technical efforts are tightly aligned with business goals and user needs. Mentor and guide junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, pair programming, and technical discussions, fostering professional growth within the team. Championing an AI-first engineering mindset by leveraging AI tools to accelerate development, improve code quality, and enhance productivity. Defining, implementing, and refining AI-assisted coding rules, guidelines, and workflows — including prompt engineering standards, AI code review practices, and governance policies — to ensure consistent team-wide benefit while maintaining reliability, security, and maintainability. Requirements Candidate must possess at least a Computer Science/Information Technology Bachelor's Degree, Professional Degree, or equivalent. 3-5 years of experience with at least one PHP MVC framework, e.g. Yii. Willing to shift to other programming language in the future if required, e.g. Python. Practical experience developing websites, portals and web-based applications with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax, etc. Create high-quality and secure production code. High degree of ownership, attention to detail, self-motivated and disciplined, with the ability to complete assigned tasks with minimal oversight in a professional and timely manner.
