We are seeking an experienced Senior Frontend Technical Lead with strong hands-on expertise in React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and Express. This is a hands-on technical leadership role requiring ownership of frontend architecture, application development, third-party integrations, and technical delivery.

The ideal candidate should be comfortable leading developers while actively coding, making architecture decisions, and delivering scalable, production-ready applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Own frontend architecture, technical strategy, and application development.
• Lead the design, development, testing, deployment, and enhancement of scalable web applications.
• Actively develop features using React.js, TypeScript, JavaScript, Node.js, and Express.
• Build multi-page React applications using modern architecture, state management, atomic design, and headless architecture.
• Lead integrations with POS systems, online ordering platforms, payment providers, loyalty platforms, authentication systems, and other third-party services.
• Review code, resolve technical issues, mentor developers, and establish coding standards.
• Optimize application performance, accessibility, SEO, SSR, and user experience.
• Apply end-to-end solution thinking across frontend, backend, databases, reporting, and downstream business processes.
• Monitor application performance using tools such as DataDog, Splunk, App Insights, and New Relic.
• Support CI/CD, unit testing, security, release management, and production deployments.
• Collaborate with product management, IT leadership, marketing, and engineering teams.
• Manage technical risks, dependencies, roadmaps, and delivery priorities.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional software/web development experience.
• 5+ years of recent hands-on React.js development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on JavaScript and TypeScript experience.
• 4+ years in a Technical Lead, Lead Web Developer, or similar leadership role.
• 3+ years of Node.js and Express experience.
• 3+ years leading and mentoring developers.
• 2+ years of Microsoft Azure experience.
• Strong expertise in HTML5, CSS, LESS, and SASS.
• Advanced knowledge of npm, webpack, grunt, gulp, and build utilities.
• Experience with API integrations, asynchronous requests, SSR, SEO, and performance optimization.
• Strong Git, CI/CD, unit testing, application security, and networking knowledge.
• Experience with Agile delivery, technical roadmaps, and production releases.
• Familiarity with Azure Cloud Functions.
• Strong architecture, documentation, communication, and consulting skills.

• Experience integrating restaurant POS platforms.
• Background in restaurant technology, retail, hospitality, or e-commerce.
• Experience with restaurant technology ecosystems, including ordering, payments, loyalty, and customer engagement platforms.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools such as DataDog, Splunk, App Insights, or New Relic.
