Role Overview: Position Title Senior Executive/ Assistant Manager – Accounts & Finance Key Responsibilities 1. Financial Accounting & Reporting Manage and supervise daily accounting activities including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations. Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in ERP/accounting systems. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements. Monitor revenue recognition, accruals, provisions, and journal entries. Review and validate accounting entries and supporting documentation. Ensure timely month-end and year-end financial closure. 2. Budgeting & Financial Planning Assist in preparation of annual budgets and forecasts. Monitor actual performance against budgets. Analyze financial variances and provide management insights. Support business units in budget planning and cost control initiatives. 3. Accounts Payable; Receivable Management Oversee vendor payments and customer collections. Ensure timely processing of invoices and payment approvals. Monitor outstanding receivables and aging reports. Manage cash flow requirements and working capital. 4. Taxation &; Statutory Compliance Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, Income Tax, PF, ESI, Professional Tax, and other statutory requirements. Review and file monthly, quarterly, and annual tax returns. Coordinate with tax consultants and authorities during assessments. Monitor changes in taxation laws and ensure compliance. 5. Audit & Internal Controls Coordinate internal and external audits. Prepare audit schedules and supporting documentation. Strengthen financial controls and compliance frameworks. Ensure adherence to company policies and accounting standards. 6. MIS & Management Reporting Prepare monthly MIS reports and management dashboards. Analyze profitability, expenses, and business performance metrics. Provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making. Present financial reports to senior management. 7. Treasury & Cash Flow Management Monitor daily cash positions and fund requirements. Manage banking relationships and banking transactions. Assist in cash flow forecasting and liquidity planning. Ensure optimal utilization of financial resources. 8. Team Management Supervise and mentor finance executives and accountants. Allocate work and monitor team performance. Conduct training on accounting processes and compliance requirements. Foster a culture of accuracy, accountability, and continuous improvement. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree in Commerce (B.Com), Finance, or Accounting. Bachelor's Degree in Finance, or Accounting will be an added advantage. Experience 5–8 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance. Experience in managing accounting operations, taxation, audits, and reporting.
