Our company works on a wide range of projects including structural steel frames, superstructure work, reinforced concrete, foundations, slabs, support of excavation systems, temporary shoring, stairs, railings, custom miscellaneous metals, and ornamental steel work. We are a fast-growing company looking for experienced professionals who can help support and expand our estimating operations. Role Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our team. This role will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive estimates for structural steel, superstructure, concrete, and miscellaneous metal projects, reviewing drawings and specifications, coordinating with suppliers and subcontractors, and supporting project planning from bidding through award. The ideal candidate has strong experience in structural steel, superstructure, and concrete estimating, understands fabrication, structural, and construction processes, and can work independently while managing multiple bids and deadlines. This is a hybrid position based in the Bronx and may lead to long-term growth opportunities within the company. Responsibilities Review architectural, structural, superstructure, and concrete drawings, specifications, and bid documents Prepare detailed cost estimates for structural steel, superstructure, concrete, and miscellaneous metal projects Perform quantity take-offs and material pricing Coordinate pricing with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors Analyze labor, fabrication, erection, and concrete installation costs Prepare and submit competitive bid proposals Assist with project budgeting and cost tracking Attend meetings and communicate with clients, general contractors, engineers, and architects Support project management teams during project turnover Qualifications Minimum 5 years of experience in structural steel, superstructure, or concrete estimating Strong understanding of steel fabrication, erection, concrete, and construction processes Ability to read and interpret structural, concrete, and architectural drawings Experience with estimating software and Microsoft Office Suite Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills Knowledge of NYC, construction practices and codes is preferred Experience with takeoff software and bid platforms is a plus Construction Management, Engineering, or related experience preferred Preferred Skills Experience estimating structural steel, superstructure work, concrete, foundations, slabs, stairs, railings, and miscellaneous metals Strong understanding of reinforced concrete scopes, structural support systems, and construction sequencing Ability to manage multiple bids simultaneously Strong negotiation and vendor coordination skills Attention to detail and ability to work under deadlines Procore and Bluebeam experience is a plus Work Location: In person Pay: $37.00 - $60.00 per hour Work Location: In person
