The role will unify data from multiple business applications into secure, reliable, and well-managed data products that support reporting, analytics, operational decision-making, and future AI initiatives. Key Responsibilities · Define and deliver the EDP roadmap, architecture, priorities, and operating model. · Lead the integration, transformation, storage, and delivery of data from operational systems and databases. · Establish reliable data pipelines, data models, quality controls, access controls, monitoring, documentation, and recovery processes. · Manage the EDP team, including data engineers, DBA(s), BI/data analysts, and external technical partners as required. · Partner with business units to identify priority data needs and deliver usable reports, datasets, dashboards, and analytical capabilities. · Implement data governance practices, including data ownership, common definitions, data cataloguing, lineage, privacy, retention, and access policies. · Ensure the platform is secure, scalable, cost-effective, and aligned with business and technology strategy. Qualifications: · Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Management, or a related field. · Significant experience in data engineering, database administration, data architecture, analytics platforms, or enterprise systems. · Experience building and operating data integration pipelines, data warehouses/lakes, APIs, and cloud or hybrid data environments. · Strong knowledge of SQL, database technologies, data modelling, security, and data quality practices. · Proven experience leading technical teams and working with business stakeholders. · Experience with data governance, BI, cloud platforms, and AI/ML data readiness is an advantage.
