Senior ELV Engineer

Experience: 3–6 years in ELV systems, UAE experience required

Key responsibilities

• Design ELV systems (CCTV, access control, intercom, structured cabling, PA, MATV/IPTV) to SIRA and consultant requirements
• Prepare and submit SIRA drawings and documents; follow up approvals and inspections through to certificate
• Configure, program and commission CCTV/VMS, NVR/servers, access control, intercom and network equipment
• Manage and follow up multiple projects at the same time: schedules, materials, manpower and subcontractors
• Review shop drawings, BOQs, technical submittals and material approvals
• Lead site testing, T&C, snagging, client training and final handover
• Attend client, consultant and main contractor meetings; handle technical queries
• Support estimation and tender teams with system design and technical offers
• Mentor and supervise junior engineers and technicians
• Provide post-handover support and troubleshooting during the defects liability period

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Communication Engineering
• 3–6 years of ELV experience
• Strong experience with SIRA requirements, including preparing SIRA submittals and following up approvals and inspections
• Strong hands-on configuration and commissioning experience
• Track record of design and follow-up on multiple projects simultaneously
• Proficient in AutoCAD and MS Excel; MS Project or similar is a plus
• Valid UAE driving license

Systems and technical knowledge

• IP CCTV and VMS platforms
• Access control and integration
• IP networking: VLANs, routing basics, switch configuration, PoE budgeting
• Structured cabling and fiber standards, testing and certification
• Storage calculation, bandwidth design and server sizing
• Integration with fire alarm, BMS and lift systems

Preferred

• SIRA certification (SIRA-approved engineer) is a plus
• Vendor certifications (Milestone, Genetec, Cisco CCNA, or similar)
• Experience on government, hospitality or large residential projects

• Proactive problem-solver who owns tasks from start to finish
• Excellent communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
• Able to work under pressure and manage several deadlines at once
• Strong leadership and team coordination skills
• Clear communication with clients, consultants and authorities
• Strong documentation and reporting discipline

Pay: AED7,000.00 - AED9,000.00 per month
