Senior Electrical Engineer (7–10 Years Experience)

We are a leading MEP contracting company in Dubai seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to join our growing team. The successful candidate will possess strong technical expertise, proven project execution experience and a demonstrated ability to deliver mechanical engineering works for complex construction projects across the UAE/GCC region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the execution of electrical works across assigned projects, ensuring delivery in accordance with approved specifications, project schedules, quality standards and HSE requirements.
• Review and coordinate electrical shop drawings, technical submittals, material approvals and construction documentation.
• Coordinate effectively with clients, consultants, main contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and internal project teams to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks or delays, and implement appropriate corrective actions to achieve project objectives.
• Ensure compliance with applicable codes, authority regulations, contractual requirements and industry best practices.
• Supervise and coordinate the installation, testing, commissioning and handover of electrical systems to ensure successful project completion.
• Provide technical support and guidance to site engineers, supervisors and project personnel.
• Support project planning, procurement activities, material management and resource allocation to facilitate timely project delivery.
• Prepare and maintain technical reports, progress updates and project-related documentation.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering from a recognized university.
• Minimum 7–10 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering within the MEP contracting and construction industry.
• Proven experience in the execution and management of electrical systems for commercial, residential or mixed-use developments within the UAE/GCC region.
• Strong technical knowledge of LV systems, power distribution, lighting systems, small power, earthing and lightning protection systems.
• Knowledge of fire & life safety systems (FLS), extra-low voltage (ELV) systems.
• Familiarity with UAE authority requirements, industry codes and international engineering standards.
• Experience in reviewing technical submittals, shop drawings, method statements and testing & commissioning documentation.
• Sound understanding of project execution, quality control, cost awareness and construction methodologies.
• Excellent communication, coordination, problem-solving and leadership skills.

Compensation: Monthly Salary of AED 16,000 - 24,000 per month , commensurate with qualifications, experience, and demonstrated capabilities.
