You'll architect, build, and maintain the cloud systems that Fortune 500 retailers trust with their most critical data and decision-making. This is a hands-on, high-ownership role — you'll work closely with backend and ML engineers to ensure our platform is secure, scalable, and relentlessly reliable. We believe in GitOps, infrastructure as code, and building systems that let engineering teams move fast without breaking things. You'll be the person who makes that real. What You'll Do Architect and build secure, scalable cloud infrastructure using IaC (Terraform/Terragrunt) on AWS Design and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines; convert manual processes into automated, repeatable workflows Own production reliability — set up observability stacks, define SLI/SLOs, and lead incident response Implement and champion GitOps workflows for all infrastructure deployments Build compliance-ready infrastructure (SOC 2, GDPR) with IAM best practices and secrets management Optimize cloud costs while maintaining performance and reliability at scale Role Requirements : Work experience Owned infrastructure end-to-end, not just contributed Hard skills Expertise with Kubernetes (EKS preferred) Baseline Seniority 5+ years of experience as a DevOps/infrastructure engineer Work experience Worked at VC-backed startups or mid-sized companies (not only large enterprises) Built and managed AWS infrastructure (ideally for B2B SaaS products) Designed and maintained CI/CD pipelines Miscellaneous Currently resides in the greater NYC area Nice-to-have Hard skills Deep hands-on expertise with Terraform and Terragrunt Create developer tooling and documentation that accelerates engineering workflows across the team Mentor team members on DevOps best practices and guide infrastructure strategy Pay: $160,000.00 - $200,000.00 per year Application Question(s): 4-5 Days Onsite Work Experience: DevOps Engineer: 5 years (Required) Work Location: In person
