II. Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer (Mobile Applications) to lead and support the development, maintenance, enhancement, and ongoing operations of a mobile application platform. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering new features, improving system performance, supporting business-critical integrations, and resolving complex technical issues. This position requires strong mobile and backend development expertise, technical leadership capabilities, and experience supporting production environments. The Senior Developer will work closely with internal teams, business stakeholders, and third-party technology providers to ensure the delivery of scalable, secure, reliable, and high-quality digital solutions. III. Key ResponsibilitiesA. Application Development and Support - Develop, maintain, and enhance the mobile application platform. - Implement new features and system improvements based on business requirements and user feedback. - Support customer account management, transaction processing, rewards programs, and administrative tools. - Ensure application solutions are scalable, reliable, secure, and thoroughly tested before deployment. B. Systems Integration and Collaboration - Collaborate with internal teams and third-party providers to implement and maintain application integrations. - Support integrations involving payment systems, data services, reporting platforms, and other business-critical systems. - Work with vendors to understand system architecture, functionality, technical dependencies, and support processes. - Facilitate knowledge transfer and coordinate technical activities with external technology partners. C. Release and Production Support - Participate in release planning, software testing, deployment, and post-production validation. - Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects, production incidents, and user-reported issues. - Monitor application performance, system stability, and service reliability. - Recommend and implement improvements to minimize recurring issues and enhance operational efficiency. D. Technical Leadership - Provide technical guidance and mentorship to developers. - Review code, technical designs, and development deliverables to ensure quality and compliance with established standards. - Support solution design, technical assessments, effort estimation, and application roadmap planning. - Promote secure coding practices, maintainable software architecture, and continuous improvement. - Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective technical solutions. IV. QualificationsA. Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. - At least 7 years of software development experience. - Hands-on experience developing and supporting mobile applications for iOS and Android. - Strong experience in backend development, API integration, and customer-facing digital platforms. - Experience supporting live production environments, troubleshooting complex issues, and maintaining application stability. - Experience leading development initiatives, reviewing technical deliverables, and mentoring developers. - Experience working with third-party or vendor-supported systems, including technical coordination and knowledge transfer. - Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills. B. Technical Skills - Native or cross-platform mobile application development. - RESTful API development and backend system integration. - Cloud-based platforms and deployment environments. - Database design, management, and optimization. - Source code management, version control, and release management tools. - Software testing, debugging, technical documentation, and troubleshooting. - Payment processing and transaction-based system integrations. - Familiarity with blockchain technologies and digital wallet integrations.
