We are looking for an experienced Senior Design Manager to join our growing team and take ownership of the day-to-day design process across our projects. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who can translate a strong creative vision into a beautifully executed, technically coordinated project. THE ROLE You will work closely with our Founder & Creative Director, taking the creative direction and developing it into a complete, polished design package — from concept through design development and execution. You will be expected to think independently, lead the design process and make decisions, rather than simply wait for instructions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES * Lead and manage interior design projects from concept to execution * Translate the Creative Director’s vision into detailed design proposals * Develop concepts, mood boards, material palettes and design presentations * Coordinate 3D visualisation and CAD/shop drawings * Review drawings for design intent, accuracy and coordination * Coordinate with the Project Manager and Civil Engineer * Manage design revisions and client approvals * Research and source high-quality materials, finishes, furniture and lighting * Attend key client meetings and material selections * Manage day-to-day design communication with clients * Ensure design quality and consistency throughout the project * Coordinate with suppliers, contractors and consultants where required * Maintain project design schedules and deliverables * Support the Creative Director with design development and presentations WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR You are: * 7–10+ years of interior design experience, preferably in the UAE * Experienced in high-end luxury residential villas * Strong in interior architecture and design development * Highly knowledgeable about materials, finishes, lighting, joinery and FF&E * Confident in client presentations and communication * Able to lead projects independently * Strong in AutoCAD and design presentation software * Comfortable coordinating 3D visualisation and technical teams * Detail-oriented and commercially aware * Organised, proactive and able to manage multiple projects * Able to work closely with contractors and technical teams * Someone with excellent taste and a strong understanding of contemporary luxury MOST IMPORTANTLY We are looking for someone who can think beyond the brief. You should be able to receive a creative direction and say: “Here are three ways we can develop this. I recommend this direction because…” rather than simply asking: “What should I do next?” You should have the confidence to take ownership of a project while understanding when a decision needs Creative Director approval.
