# Senior Data Ingestion Engineer / Fivetran Specialist **Spasnik Solutions** · Hyderabad, Telangana · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 5 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Job Title: Senior Data Ingestion Engineer / Fivetran Specialist Experience: 6+ Years We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Ingestion Engineer / Fivetran Specialist with strong hands-on expertise in designing, developing, configuring, and supporting enterprise-scale data ingestion solutions. The primary focus of this role is Non-SAP Data Ingestion using Fivetran , with strong experience across relational databases, APIs, SFTP/file-based integrations, SaaS applications, and cloud/on-premises data sources. Key Responsibilities Design, build, configure, and support enterprise data ingestion pipelines using Fivetran . Develop and manage Fivetran connectors across heterogeneous source systems. Work extensively with relational databases including: Oracle DB2 Microsoft SQL Server MySQL PostgreSQL Other enterprise relational databases Integrate data from SaaS applications, cloud-hosted systems, and on-premises databases. Build and support API-based and SFTP/file-based data ingestion solutions. Configure and manage: Initial / Full Loads Incremental Loads Change Data Capture (CDC) Design and implement Oracle-based CDC and incremental replication patterns using Fivetran . Configure secure connectivity between Fivetran and enterprise on-premises/cloud source systems. Monitor ingestion pipelines and troubleshoot connector, replication, latency, and data-load issues. Design ingestion solutions considering: Source-system impact Scalability Throughput Latency Security Reliability Cost Work closely with Data Engineering and platform teams to ensure reliable and scalable data ingestion. Maintain clear technical documentation for ingestion configurations, source connections, and replication logic. Required Skills 6+ years of experience in Non-SAP Data Ingestion . Strong hands-on experience with Fivetran . Experience building and supporting enterprise-grade ingestion pipelines. Strong experience with Oracle and other relational database sources. Good understanding of CDC, incremental replication, and full-load patterns . Experience integrating SaaS, cloud, and on-premises source systems. Experience with APIs and SFTP/file-based ingestion. Understanding of secure source connectivity and enterprise security requirements. Ability to troubleshoot data ingestion and replication issues independently. Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills. Good learning attitude with ownership and accountability for assigned tasks. Preferred Skills Experience with large-scale cloud data platforms. Knowledge of data warehousing and modern data architecture. Experience working with high-volume enterprise source systems. Exposure to data quality, reconciliation, and monitoring frameworks.
