Turn smart glasses technology into stories that inform, inspire and travel. We build award-winning smart glasses in Vienna: hardware, firmware, software, all under one roof. This is a role where your writing shapes how the world meets our technology, from the first LinkedIn post to the in-depth white paper. Making Future Reality together - are you in? Tasks What You’ll Be Doing - Write: Craft articles, newsletters, product texts, and white papers for different B2B-audiences, always clear, interesting and on point - Own content end to end: Conceive, write, and guide every piece through to publication - Run our LinkedIn presence: Plan the editorial calendar, write, publish, look after the community - Research and ask: Dive into our technology, ask our engineers good questions and turn the answers into clear stories - Shape our voice: Keep tone, wording, and language guidelines consistent across all channels and be the go-to person for text - Think visually: Bring ideas for visuals that enhance your stories and posts and translate them into clear briefs for colleagues. - Use AI wisely: Embrace AI as a tool, but always apply critical thinking, creativity, and editorial expertise. Never settle for generic AI-generated content. - Prioritize: Keep the overview across several projects and deadlines Requirements What You Bring to the Team - Outstanding writing: You write clearly, precisely and with style, with a fine ear for nuance and regional phrasing, and a flawless command of spelling and punctuation (proofreading is a joy, not a chore) - The skill to serve diverse audiences: You find the right tone, depth, and format for each target group, and keep the message intact along the way - Several years of proven experience as a writer or editor, ideally in an agency, publishing house, or in-house team - Curiosity for technology: You want to understand how things work and can explain complex topics simply and vividly - Hands-on experience with social media, ideally LinkedIn, basic knowledge of newsletter tools and content management systems, and confident, critical use of AI text tools - An eye for visuals: A good sense of impactful imagery and the ability to communicate visual ideas clearly - A structured, independent way of working with a cool head, plus joy in teamwork and creative sparring, high-quality standards and your own initiative - Writing samples that show your craft: an article that needed explaining, social posts derived from it, and examples of image selection or design briefings, each with a note on your own contribution - Fluent German and English, with publication-ready writing in both What’s extra? - Yearly public transport card (Vienna) - Workation within the EEA - Dog-friendly offices - “Inspire Days” – time to learn and recharge - A front-row seat to how a deep-tech hardware product gets built, from PCB to shipped device - International team where your impact is visible every day As you know, due to the collective agreement (KV), we have to mention the official minimum salary, which is EUR €3.954 gross/month.
