About the role

As a Senior Consultant SAP Finance (m/f/d/x), you will shape future-ready financial processes for our customers and drive innovative transformations. In this key role, you will guide demanding S/4HANA Finance projects from conception through successful implementation.

Your responsibilities include:

• Strategic consulting: Provide functional and process consulting to customers in SAP Finance, and design tailored best-practice solutions based on SAP S/4HANA Finance.
• Implementation and customizing: Independently carry out customizing, analyze requirements and design system architectures, taking relevant module interfaces such as MM and SD into account.
• Responsibility and leadership: Take on project or workstream leadership responsibilities in agile project environments using Scrum and SAP Activate, and guide stakeholders on functional matters.
• Innovation: Integrate modern technologies, including SAP Business AI and Joule, to optimize and automate financial processes.

Your profile

You have extensive expertise in SAP Finance, with many years of in-depth experience customizing and supporting the SAP Finance core module, including its integration with Controlling. You also have a strong understanding of module integration and business finance processes, including seamless interfaces with adjacent modules such as SAP MM and SD.

You also bring:

• Process optimization and requirements analysis: Strong skills in process analysis and requirements engineering, and in developing future-ready functional concepts.
• Workstream leadership and stakeholder management: Proven experience leading projects or workstreams, confident stakeholder management and excellent consulting skills.
• Sales support: Contribute to bid teams by preparing and quality-assuring proposals.
• Developing junior colleagues: Contribute to the development of junior colleagues, with a focus on SAP Financial Accounting.
• Agile methodologies: Familiarity with agile project methods such as Scrum and best practices based on SAP Activate.
• Language skills: Fluent German and English for professional communication in day-to-day project work.

Desirable skills

• Relevant SAP certifications in SAP S/4HANA Finance or Controlling.
• Some practical exposure to or experience with SAP Business AI and Joule.
• Programming or code-reading skills (ABAP / ABAP OO) and debugging experience.
• Experience with other related SAP modules, such as PS, FSCM or PP, or with integration technologies.
• Agile project management certifications, such as Scrum Master, Product Owner or SAP Activate.
