The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and supervising civil construction activities, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and UAE regulations. The ideal candidate should have strong experience in building construction, site execution, project coordination, subcontractor management, and quality control , with proven experience working on construction projects in the UAE. Key Responsibilities Manage and supervise day-to-day civil construction activities at project sites. Ensure construction works are carried out as per approved drawings, specifications, method statements, and project schedules. Coordinate with consultants, clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and other project stakeholders. Review and interpret structural, architectural, and civil drawings and identify any discrepancies. Plan manpower, materials, equipment, and resources required for site activities. Monitor project progress and ensure activities are completed according to the approved schedule. Supervise and coordinate subcontractors to ensure quality and timely execution. Ensure all works comply with project specifications, quality standards, and applicable UAE codes and regulations. Coordinate with the QA/QC team for inspections, testing, and approvals. Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports. Monitor material requirements and coordinate with procurement and suppliers. Identify technical issues and coordinate with consultants and relevant departments for timely resolution. Assist in preparing and reviewing BOQs, quantity take-offs, variations, and interim payment applications . Monitor project costs and minimize material wastage and unnecessary expenses. Ensure proper implementation of health, safety, and environmental requirements at site. Attend site meetings and provide technical updates to management. Maintain proper documentation, records, and as-built information. Mentor and guide junior engineers and site teams. Carry out any other duties related to the project as assigned by management. Requirements Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized university. Minimum 8 years of relevant civil construction experience . UAE/GCC construction experience is highly preferred. Strong experience with contracting companies and building construction projects. Excellent knowledge of construction methods, materials, and site execution. Ability to read and understand civil, structural, and architectural drawings. Good knowledge of UAE construction standards, regulations, and authority requirements . Experience in subcontractor coordination and project management. Strong knowledge of QA/QC and HSE requirements. Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management/reporting tools . Strong leadership, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple site activities and work under pressure. UAE driving license is preferred.
