Senior Business Analyst Level-3

ID Solutions Inc. is seeking an experienced Senior Business Analyst for an exciting opportunity with a Texas State Government Agency – Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC) .

Location: Austin, TX Position: Business Analyst Level 3 Client: Railroad Commission of Texas (RRC) Engagement: Texas DIR ITSAC Contract Opportunity

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document complex business and technical requirements.
• Support mainframe reports modernization and data extraction initiatives.
• Perform data analysis, root cause analysis, and data flow documentation.
• Develop reports using Power BI and Snowflake .
• Support data publishing to the Texas DIR Open Data Portal and RRC website.
• Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), training, and implementation activities.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams.

Required Qualifications:

• 8+ years of business analysis, requirements gathering, and report development experience.
• 8+ years of experience translating business requirements into technical solutions.
• 5+ years of UAT, training, and implementation support.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Snowflake and Power BI .
• Excellent analytical, communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Oil & Gas industry experience preferred.

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
