The Senior Business Analyst will translate complex business and regulatory needs into actionable requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria while supporting Agile delivery and backlog management. The role will also provide guidance to junior analysts, collaborate closely with Product Owners and other stakeholders, and leverage AI-assisted tools to enhance requirements analysis and documentation. Key Responsibilities - Lead the elicitation, analysis, and documentation of complex business requirements. - Translate business and regulatory needs into epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria. - Facilitate backlog refinement and prioritization with Product Owners. - Model business processes, data flows, and workflow requirements. - Mentor junior analysts and review requirements artifacts. - Support UAT planning, development of test scenarios, and deliverable acceptance. - Leverage AI-assisted tools for requirements analysis and documentation. - Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to ensure requirements are clearly understood and effectively translated into deliverables. Required Qualifications - 7+ years of business analysis experience on IT programs. - Experience with Agile delivery and backlog management. - Strong experience in requirements elicitation, modeling, and documentation. - Excellent communication skills with both technical and business stakeholders. - Strong communication and presentation skills. - Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently. - Ability to adapt and remain flexible as priorities shift. - Strong collaboration skills and responsiveness to feedback and client needs. - U.S. Citizenship required. - Ability to pass a 7-year background check. - Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Clearance. Preferred Qualifications - Federal IT experience. - Financial-regulatory experience. - CBAP certification. - Agile Analysis certification. - Familiarity with AI-assisted analysis tools. Salary : $140,000–$150,000 per year Education & Certifications No specific degree requirement. No specific certification requirement. Preferred: CBAP certification. Agile Analysis certification.
