Responsibilities - You support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Commercial Code (HGB) in collaboration with external tax advisors. - You share responsibility for ongoing general ledger accounting, including account reconciliations and the preparation of advance VAT returns. - You assist with the implementation of Oracle NetSuite. - You review and record business transactions, ensuring accurate financial representation. - You collaborate closely with auditors and tax consultants and support during audits. - You contribute ideas for the improvement and digitalization of financial accounting processes. - You serve as the main point of contact for all financial accounting inquiries and handle external queries regarding tax matters. Required Skills - You have completed vocational training as a Financial Accountant (m/f/d) or hold an equivalent qualification. - You possess sound knowledge of German Commercial Code (HGB) accounting standards and have experience preparing annual financial statements and tax returns. - You bring hands-on experience in financial accounting and are proficient in using NetSuite and MS Office. - Precision, personal initiative, and a structured approach to work are among your key strengths. - You enjoy working with digital tools and proactively contribute to the ongoing improvement of processes. - Team spirit and a service-oriented mindset come naturally to you.
