The ideal candidate should have strong barista skills, excellent customer service, and a genuine interest in coffee and café operations. We are looking for someone who is proactive, communicative, and not shy about sharing ideas and contributing to the development of the café. Specialty Coffee experience is a bonus and will be considered an advantage. Key Responsibilities Prepare and serve high-quality espresso-based and specialty coffee beverages. Ensure consistency in coffee preparation, recipes, presentation, and taste. Operate and maintain espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment. Monitor bar workflow and ensure efficient service during busy periods. Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards. Monitor coffee, milk, and consumable stock levels and report shortages. Handle customer requests and provide professional and knowledgeable service. Support the Café Manager / Supervisor with daily operational requirements. Contribute ideas for new beverages, menu improvements, promotions, presentation, workflow, and customer experience . Identify operational issues and proactively suggest practical solutions. Participate in product development, coffee tasting, and staff training when required. Take initiative in improving the overall café environment and guest experience. Requirements Minimum 3 years of professional barista experience . Good knowledge of espresso preparation, milk steaming, latte art, and coffee brewing methods. Good knowledge of coffee equipment and basic troubleshooting. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to train and support other baristas. Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced café environment. Specialty Coffee experience is a bonus. Experience with manual brewing, coffee tasting, cupping, or specialty coffee is an advantage. UAE café/hospitality experience is preferred. Willingness to work flexible hours, weekends, and public holidays as required.
