Senior Barista

Experienced Senior Barista to lead daily cafe operations while maintaining high standards in coffee preparation, customer service and team performance. The Senior Barista will oversee beverage quality, support junior staff training and ensure smooth day-to-day workflow within the café.

• 4-6 years experience specialty coffee

A. Beverage Preparation and Quality Control

• Prepare espresso-based and specialty beverages according to company recipes and quality standards.
• Maintain consistency in coffee extraction, milk texturing and beverage presentation.
• Ensure the quality and consistency of all beverages served.
• Monitor workflow efficiency during service hours.
• Assist junior baristas in maintaining beverage quality.

B. Team Support and Training

• Support and guide junior baristas during daily operations.
• Assist in training staff in coffee preparation, customer service, hygiene and cleanliness.
• Maintain positive team communication and a collaborative working environment.

C. Café Operations

• Perform opening and closing procedures as assigned.
• Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the café and coffee bar.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate stock requirements to management.
• Ensure equipment is properly maintained and operated safely.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety standards at all times.

D. Learning and Development

• Maintain knowledge of coffee origins, brewing methods and the café menu.
• Participate in cupping sessions and product tastings.
• Support the continuous improvement of café standards and workflow.
• Work with the Head Barista and Roaster to maintain coffee quality and consistency.

Pay: AED3,500.00 - AED3,800.00 per month

Experience:

• Specialty Coffee: 4 years (Preferred)
