The Role We are seeking a Senior Automation Test Engineer with 7+ years of experience to join our Cloud & Data Engineering team. In this role, you will take ownership of testing strategies, design robust automation frameworks for Web/Mobile, and pioneer the use of AI tools to accelerate test script generation and quality evaluation. Core Requirements Experience: 7+ years in software testing with at least 3+ years in a senior/leadership role. Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Engineering, or related fields. Testing Fundamentals: Solid expertise in test strategy, planning, bug reporting, manual testing, and integration/API testing (Postman). Strong knowledge of Agile working models. Automation Frameworks: Deep experience designing automation test frameworks/solutions for Web and Mobile apps, including visual testing. Expertise in UI/API automation tools (Playwright, Selenium, REST Assured, Karate API, or Katalon). Programming & Database: Strong coding skills in JavaScript (Mandatory) ; Python is a plus. Strong SQL skills and database testing experience. AI-Driven Testing: Hands-on experience using AI coding assistants (GitHub Copilot, Cursor) to generate automation scripts. (Knowledge in AI Testing and Data Testing is a big plus). Language & Soft Skills: Good English communication . Strong ability to research new technologies, self-manage, and drive strategic discussions. Nice to Have Experience using GenAI tools (MS Copilot, Test Sigma, TestRail) to generate test cases. Experience integrating automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Azure DevOps). Non-functional testing experience (Performance testing with JMeter or K6).
