We’re looking for a Senior AU Bookkeeper with strong experience supporting Australian small businesses . You’ll take ownership of day-to-day bookkeeping, compliance, payroll, reconciliations, and financial reporting while working closely with an Australian client. This role is ideal for someone who is technically strong, highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident working independently. WHAT YOU'LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR Manage the full range of bookkeeping needs for the business Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records Handle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable Perform bank and credit card reconciliations Prepare and lodge Business Activity Statements (BAS) Manage GST and PAYG withholding requirements Process payroll in line with Australian requirements Maintain employee records, including superannuation and leave entitlements Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting Liaise with external accountants and auditors when required Manage petty cash and company credit cards Prepare financial reports and complete ad hoc accounting tasks Provide guidance or support to a bookkeeping team when required WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR 5+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Strong hands-on experience in Australian bookkeeping and accounting Experience working with Australian small businesses/SMEs is highly preferred Solid knowledge of Australian taxation, GST, PAYG, superannuation, and payroll Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, Dext , or similar accounting platforms Strong reconciliation and financial reporting capabilities Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time-management skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and take ownership Previous team leadership experience is an advantage WHY JOIN US? ₱65,000–₱80,000 monthly salary Direct exposure to Australian accounting and small business practices Opportunity to handle end-to-end bookkeeping responsibilities Senior-level role with opportunities to grow your expertise Stable, long-term career opportunity Professional and collaborative work environment WORK ARRANGEMENT: ONSITE This is a fully onsite position requiring regular onsite attendance.
