With over 140 million app downloads and more than 40 million monthly active users, Traveloka stands as one of the most popular travel apps in the region. Job Description Job ID: MJ000408 About Traveloka Traveloka is Southeast Asia's leading travel and lifestyle super-app. We connect tens of millions of travellers across the region with flights, hotels, experiences, financial services, and more — all from a single platform. Since our founding in 2012, we have expanded to eleven markets, processed billions of dollars in transactions, and built one of the most recognised consumer brands in the region. We move fast because the region demands it. Southeast Asia is young, mobile-first, and growing faster than almost anywhere else on earth. We are not transplanting a Western playbook — we are writing a new one, from scratch, for a market that does not look like anywhere else — and we are calling for people who want to be part of that. About the Team Procurement sits at the sharp end of Traveloka's financial discipline. We decide how the company spends — from cloud and technology to marketing, professional services, and the operations that keep a super-app running across 11 markets. Every contract we negotiate and every supplier we onboard either protects margin or erodes it, and in a low-margin industry that math matters. Here you own categories end to end: you build the sourcing strategy, run the negotiations, and partner with the teams that depend on what you buy. You will navigate vendor landscapes that span Southeast Asia's many currencies, regulations, and business cultures — terrain no Western playbook covers. If you treat procurement as value creation rather than paperwork, and you like turning spend into a competitive advantage, you will do your best work here. About the Job As a Principal Procurement Analyst, you are a senior individual contributor — no direct reports — who delivers through your own expertise. You develop and implement operational sourcing plans aligned to the domain's priorities, with direct impact on a whole category's results, and you tackle genuinely complex problems that weigh operational and financial trade-offs together. You influence and persuade the parties around a deal even where final authority sits elsewhere. - Develop and implement sourcing plans for complex, high-value categories that directly shift the domain's cost, risk, and supply results, and personally own the toughest negotiations, persuading suppliers and stakeholders through reasoning rather than positional authority - Propose the technical sourcing strategy for your areas and actively shape what the function adopts - Work problems that demand in-depth understanding of both operational and financial impact, applying advanced expertise and past experience - Design RFx and tender strategy that stays compliant and defensible under audit at significant deal sizes - Enhance sourcing process, templates, and tooling as a senior member of improvement project teams - Own supplier risk and contract governance for your categories, with mitigation that holds under stress - Mentor analysts and lift the technical bar across the team, without line-managing anyone Job Requirements - You have at least 8 years of relevant experience. - You have deep, senior procurement expertise and are the person others turn to for the hardest sourcing problems - You have a strong record of negotiating and managing complex, high-value contracts and supplier relationships - You develop and run sourcing plans that visibly move a category's cost, risk, and supply outcomes - You are fluent in spend, TCO, category strategy, and supply-risk management and turn analysis into decisions - You design and run tenders that are competitive, compliant, and defensible at significant scale - You drive process and tooling improvement as a senior contributor, not by managing a team - You influence senior stakeholders and suppliers with data and reasoning, even without formal authority over them - You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent depth, ideally with a procurement certification - You communicate clearly and persuasively with finance, business leaders, and major suppliers in English - You apply analytics and AI tooling to sharpen your own sourcing decisions and analysis - You have personally led a regional or multi-market sourcing programme across Southeast Asia as the technical lead - You have driven a category strategy or process redesign that delivered lasting, measurable savings, and hold a senior procurement credential (MCIPS, CPSM) and bring it to bear on the hardest deals Join Us If you have read this far and felt something click — the problem, the scale, the moment — we would like to hear from you. We review every application. If your background is a strong fit, you will hear from us within 5 business days. We are building the kind of company where strong people choose to stay because the work keeps getting bigger and better. If that is what you are looking for, apply.
