Senior Architectural Engineer

Requirements

• Residency: Must be currently residing in Qatar and ready to start immediately .
• Experience: Extensive senior-level experience in architectural engineering, field monitoring, and site supervision for complex projects/events (including setup, installation, and execution phases).
• Core Skills: Outstanding organizational, leadership, time-management, and multi-tasking abilities.
• Problem Solving: Proven ability to interface effectively with contractors, technical teams, and vendors on-site, driving resolution for all engineering remarks and design conflicts.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong expertise in project scheduling, progress tracking, Microsoft Office tools, and engineering/architectural software (CAD/BIM) for reporting and Project Dashboards.
• Safety Standards: Thorough knowledge of workplace health, safety, and building regulations in Qatar.
• Languages: Fluency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken).

Key Responsibilities:

• Project Coordination & Engineering Planning: Lead and contribute to the preparation of comprehensive architectural engineering project plans, timelines, and execution schedules, ensuring seamless integration from initial setup and site preparation to installation and final implementation.
• Progress & Execution Tracking: Oversee architectural engineering task execution against established project plans and timelines, proactively identify design or execution delays and technical challenges, and brief senior management for prompt action.
• Reporting & Dashboards: Prepare, update, and present detailed project progress reports, weekly executive summaries, and Project Dashboards highlighting key metrics, status updates, deadlines, and engineering notes.
• Vendor & Consultant Coordination: Act as the primary technical point of contact to coordinate meetings, site visits, and collaboration with external contractors, suppliers, and engineering consultants.
• Field Supervision & Quality Control: Conduct regular site visits to project and event locations to monitor architectural implementation, setup, and structural/finishing works. Verify strict compliance with engineering designs, scope of work, and timelines while resolving on-site technical issues with project teams.
• Safety & Quality Compliance: Coordinate with relevant authorities and site managers to ensure all architectural engineering designs and site operations comply with health, safety, security, and quality (HSEQ) standards.
