During the billing process there are many unknown-unknowns and detecting these are vital for ensuring an accurate bill. Key job responsibilities You will work closely with the usage metering and bill computation teams to build anomaly detectors that can find issues in usage and invoices. You will build production models that will be the cornerstone of our efforts to ensure accurate bills. About the team We are a small science team that work on high-impact projects in AWS Billing. Our work is foundational for Billing's accuracy goals. We publish our results in top conferences and play an active role in academia. - 3+ years of building machine learning models for business application experience - PhD, or Master's degree and 6+ years of applied research experience - Experience programming in Java, C++, Python or related language - Experience with neural deep learning methods and machine learning
