Our products serve the oil & gas, petroleum distribution, marine, industrial, chemical and manufacturing sectors.

We are looking for an experienced Application & Technical Sales Engineer who combines strong pump application knowledge with proven commercial success in the UAE market.

This is not an entry-level sales position. We are seeking someone who can independently manage technical enquiries, select equipment, develop competitive proposals and build lasting customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities

• Review customer RFQs, technical specifications, drawings and application requirements.
• Independently select and size pumps, including positive displacement sliding vane, gear, centrifugal and AODD pumps.
• Perform relevant engineering calculations, including flow, pressure, differential head, NPSH, viscosity, power requirements and material compatibility.
• Prepare accurate technical and commercial quotations, including suitable alternatives where appropriate.
• Work with international manufacturers to obtain technical clarifications, pricing and delivery information.
• Develop new business and manage existing accounts across the UAE.
• Identify opportunities with end users, EPC contractors, OEMs and industrial customers.
• Negotiate commercially sound orders while protecting profitability.
• Manage enquiries and opportunities from initial contact through order confirmation and customer follow-up.
• Provide technical support, product presentations and practical solutions to customers.

Essential Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related engineering discipline.
• Minimum 4–5 years of relevant experience in industrial pump applications and technical sales, including proven UAE market experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of pump selection and sizing , especially positive displacement pumps.
• Experience preparing technical proposals and responding independently to complex RFQs.
• Proven sales performance with industrial customers in the UAE.
• Familiarity with major international pump manufacturers and their products.
• Ability to interpret pump curves, datasheets, P&IDs and technical specifications.
• Excellent English communication, negotiation and customer relationship skills.
• Valid UAE driving licence.

Strongly Preferred

• Experience with sliding vane pumps for petroleum, LPG and chemical transfer applications.
• Familiarity with manufacturers such as Corken, Blackmer, Roper, Viking, Gorman-Rupp, MP Pumps or similar.
• Knowledge of petroleum handling equipment, flow meters, loading arms, hose reels, valves and related fluid transfer systems.
• Established professional relationships within the UAE oil & gas, petroleum distribution and industrial sectors.
• Experience with ERP/CRM systems and structured sales reporting.
