Key Responsibilities: - Support and maintain microservices-based applications across Linux, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms. - Monitor system health and respond to production incidents and service degradations. - Troubleshoot application and platform issues using logs, metrics, and system diagnostics. - Work closely with development and platform teams to resolve service and infrastructure issues. - Conduct root cause analysis and contribute to operational improvements. - Maintain runbooks, operational documentation, and troubleshooting guides. - Identify opportunities to automate repetitive operational tasks. - Mentor junior engineers and participate in a 24x7 rotational support schedule. Qualifications: - 3+ years of experience supporting production applications or distributed systems. - Strong understanding of HTTP/HTTPS, APIs, and TLS/SSL certificates. - Experience troubleshooting application connectivity and service issues. - Experience supporting microservices architectures, deployments, scalability, and distributed applications. - Hands-on experience with Linux, Kubernetes/container platforms, and AWS or other cloud infrastructure. - Experience with monitoring, logging, metrics, and observability tools. Familiarity with Git workflows and basic scripting using Bash, Python, or similar. Nice to Have: - Experience supporting API gateways, messaging systems, or platform services. - Exposure to DevOps or SRE environments. - Cloud or Kubernetes certifications such as CKAD or AWS certifications. Work Location: Hybrid remote in Mandaluyong
