Your primary focus will be the development of such applications and their integration with back-end services. You will be working alongside other engineers and developers working on different layers of the infrastructure. Therefore, a commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and creating quality products is essential. Responsibilities: - Design and build applications for Android - Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications - Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features - Understand Technical Design documentation when developing solutions - Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs - Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization - Exposure to DevOps principles and methodology and tools Skills: - Proficient in Java, with a good knowledge of its ecosystems, also deep exposure to Kotlin •Proficient in Android Studio IDE - Solid understanding of object-oriented programming •Experience with Groovy - Good knowledge of performance limits and characteristics - Knowledge of memory management and multi-threading - Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect to back-end services - Comprehensive understanding and implementation of UI design and a user-oriented focus - Implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests •Knack for benchmarking and optimization - Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines - Proficient understanding of code versioning tools (e.g. Git and/or AzureDevOps) •Familiarity with continuous integration - Exposure to working in Agile methodology and relevant tools (e.g. Jira) - BSc Computer Science qualification or equivalent •Minimum of 5 years of work experience Originally posted on Himalayas
