Senior Analyst – Finance Strategy

About the Role

We are looking for a Senior Analyst – Finance Strategy to support strategic financial planning, business decision-making, real estate portfolio planning, and finance transformation initiatives.

The role will work closely with the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and cross-functional stakeholders to develop financial models, budgets, forecasts, business cases, and management reporting. The position will also play a key role in ERP implementation and finance systems transformation , ensuring that finance processes, reporting, controls, and workflows are effectively designed and implemented.

This is a high-impact role for a finance professional who combines strong financial analysis and modelling skills with business acumen, stakeholder management, and an interest in finance technology and systems.

Key Responsibilities

1. Real Estate Strategy & Financial Planning

• Develop financial models, budgets, forecasts, and business cases for real estate acquisitions, leases, expansions, renewals, and capital projects.
• Conduct project/site-level ROI, feasibility, profitability, and cost-benefit analysis .
• Evaluate investment proposals and provide financial insights to support management decision-making.
• Support buy vs. lease, expansion, renewal, and other real estate-related strategic decisions .
• Monitor real estate portfolio performance against approved budgets and forecasts.
• Identify key cost variances, financial risks, and opportunities and highlight them to the CFO.
• Develop dashboards and MIS reports covering real estate spend, project performance, budgets, and key financial metrics.
• Track project and portfolio-level financial performance and provide actionable recommendations.

1. Finance Strategy & Business Planning

• Support the annual budgeting and forecasting process and preparation of long-range financial plans.
• Develop scenario analysis, sensitivity models, and financial projections for strategic business decisions.
• Analyse business performance and identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Conduct cost and performance benchmarking against relevant industry and market standards.
• Prepare management presentations, financial analysis, and strategic recommendations for the CFO and senior management.
• Partner with business and functional teams to evaluate financial implications of key initiatives.
• Support ad-hoc financial and strategic analysis as required by the CFO.

1. ERP Implementation & Finance Systems

• Act as the Finance-side project lead for ERP implementation, upgrades, and finance systems transformation initiatives.
• Gather requirements from finance, accounting, real estate, and other business teams and translate them into system and process requirements.
• Work closely with IT teams and external ERP implementation partners throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Support process mapping, system configuration, user acceptance testing (UAT), issue resolution, and go-live activities.
• Design and implement finance workflows, approval hierarchies, controls, and reporting structures within the ERP.
• Ensure finance and real estate reporting requirements are appropriately incorporated into the system.
• Coordinate and validate data migration , reconciliation, and data accuracy.
• Develop process documentation and standard operating procedures for new systems and workflows.
• Conduct training and knowledge sessions for finance and real estate teams on new ERP processes.
• Provide post-go-live support and identify opportunities for continuous improvement and automation.

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory.
• 3–6 years of post-qualification experience in FP&A, business finance, finance strategy, corporate finance, or a similar role.
• Prior experience in real estate finance, real estate planning, project finance, or capital expenditure analysis will be preferred.
• Experience in ERP implementation, ERP upgrades, finance transformation, or system transitions is highly desirable.
• Exposure to ERP platforms such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar systems will be an advantage.
• Strong proficiency in MS Excel and financial modelling .
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other BI/reporting tools will be an added advantage.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, business case development, and financial planning.
