The role We’re looking for an experienced AI Product Manager to become the primary product owner for Legora and Hamilton Locke's growing suite of AI tools. Based in Sydney and reporting jointly to the Head of Technology and the Director of Business Performance, you will be the first point of contact for Legora and future AI tools across the firm, working closely with our practice groups to identify, configure and roll out agents, workflows and other AI capabilities that make a genuine difference to how our lawyers work. You will own the feedback loop between users and the platform, driving continuous improvement, and lead the training, communication and change management needed to embed new features successfully. Beyond Legora, you will play an active role in shaping and delivering Hamilton Locke's broader AI strategy, helping to identify, evaluate and deploy AI tools across the firm's business model and value chain. Key responsibilities Act as the primary product owner and first point of contact for Legora and future AI tools adopted across the firm. Own the product roadmap for Legora at Hamilton Locke, prioritising new features, agents and workflows in line with practice group needs and firm strategy. Maintain strong working relationships with Legora and other AI vendors, including escalation of issues, feature requests and commercial or licensing matters. Partner with practice groups to identify use cases and implement agents, workflows and other AI capabilities that improve how lawyers deliver work. Run discovery sessions with partners and lawyers to translate practice-specific workflows and pain points into configured tools and prompts. Collect, triage and act on user feedback, maintaining a continuous improvement pipeline for tool configuration, prompts and workflows. Design and deliver training programmes, user guides and communications for the rollout of new Legora features and other AI tools. Assess new AI tools and vendors, including running pilots, cost-benefit analysis and risk/compliance considerations (data privacy, confidentiality, professional obligations). Contribute to governance frameworks and policies for the responsible use of AI within the firm. About you We are looking for someone: With demonstrated experience as a Product Manager or Product Owner, ideally for AI, legal technology or other enterprise software tools, and a track record of driving adoption of new technology within a professional services or similarly regulated environment. Who is a confident communicator and relationship-builder, comfortable engaging with partners, lawyers and business services teams to understand workflows, translate requirements into product solutions and drive change with limited direct authority. Who is genuinely curious about legal technology and generative AI, enjoys hands-on configuration and testing of tools such as Legora, and is energised by building training materials and communications that bring users along the journey. What you'll bring Deep experience in a product management, product owner or technology enablement role, ideally involving AI, legal technology or other enterprise software within professional services, financial services or another regulated industry. Hands-on experience configuring, administering or rolling out AI or automation tools (such as Legora, other legal AI platforms, or generative AI tools), including prompt design, workflow/agent configuration and integration considerations. Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage credibly with partners and senior lawyers, gather requirements, manage expectations and drive adoption without direct authority. Experience designing and delivering training, communications and change management programmes for new technology or process change. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to define and track adoption, usage and value metrics, and to translate feedback into a clear product backlog. An understanding of legal workflows and the practice of law is highly regarded but not essential; a genuine interest in legal services and how AI can transform them is essential. Awareness of data privacy, confidentiality, information security and professional/ethical considerations relevant to deploying AI in a law firm environment. A proactive, curious and pragmatic mindset, comfortable operating with ambiguity in a fast-moving, high-growth environment, and building processes and frameworks from scratch. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical AI concepts to non-technical audiences. About Us We have built a high-growth, people-centric business that maximises our ‘people experience’ (PX) to foster a vibrant culture, putting our people at the forefront of everything we do.
