Job Description – Senior Accounts Position: Senior Accountant Reporting To: Director Department: Accounts & Finance Location: Kandivali Experience: Minimum 5 years Industry: Real Estate / Construction Employment Type: Full-Time Job Summary We are looking for a detail-oriented and experienced Senior Accounts Executive to manage day-to-day accounting operations, ensure accurate financial records, handle reconciliations, and support statutory compliance and financial reporting. Key Responsibilities Manage day-to-day accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, journal entries and expenses. Maintain accurate books of accounts and ensure timely posting of transactions. Prepare and review bank, vendor, customer and ledger reconciliations. Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable activities. Prepare monthly MIS reports, expense statements and other financial reports. Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual closing of accounts. Ensure compliance with GST, TDS and other statutory requirements. Coordinate with auditors, consultants, banks, vendors and internal departments as required. Verify invoices, supporting documents and payment requests before processing. Monitor outstanding receivables and payables and follow up for timely settlements. Maintain proper documentation and records for accounting and audit purposes. Assist in budgeting, cash-flow monitoring and financial analysis. Identify accounting discrepancies and ensure timely resolution. Support management with financial data and reports whenever required. Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable accounting standards. Required Skills & Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Commerce / Accounting / Finance. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in Accounts & Finance. Experience in Real Estate / Construction industry will be preferred. Strong knowledge of GST, TDS and basic statutory compliance. Good knowledge of MS Excel and accounting software/ERP. Strong understanding of general accounting principles. Good analytical and reconciliation skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and meet deadlines. Good communication and coordination skills. Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹80,000.00 per month Benefits: Health insurance Provident Fund Work Location: In person
