In this role, you will lead the day-to-day accounting functions, reconcile payment gateways against policy issuance, manage tax compliance, and deliver timely financial reports to management. Duties and Responsibilities: Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow) in accordance with local accounting standards. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Oversee the timely collection of premiums from clients and manage disbursements, including the prompt settlement of net premiums to insurance providers and distribution of partner commissions. Tax Compliance & Management: Ensure full compliance with national and local tax regulations, including corporate income tax, VAT/percentage taxes, withholding taxes, and the accurate filing of all required statutory returns. Audit Coordination: Serve as the primary point of contact for external auditors and regulatory examiners, preparing all necessary schedules, worksheets, and supporting financial documentation. Process Optimization & Controls: Continuous evaluation and refinement of internal financial controls, accounting workflows, and automated system integrations to minimize operational risk and transaction leakage. Cash Flow Monitoring: Track day-to-day cash positions, manage operational liquidity, and provide cash flow forecasts to support strategic corporate planning. Qualifications & Skills Education & Certification: Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy. A Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is highly preferred. Experience: 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3 years in a senior or supervisory capacity. Advanced Data Skills: Exceptional proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, data modeling) to clean and analyze large volumes of transactional data. Regulatory Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of local tax laws, financial reporting frameworks, and corporate statutory compliance requirements.
