Senior Accountant – Healthcare Insurance

We are seeking a CA-qualified Senior Accountant with strong UAE healthcare insurance experience to oversee financial reporting, insurance accounting, regulatory compliance, and audit activities within a healthcare insurance/TPA environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
• Manage month-end/year-end closing, general ledger, reconciliations, and financial controls.
• Handle insurance accounting, including insurance receivables and coordination with insurance providers.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and CBUAE financial reporting requirements.
• Coordinate internal and external audits and manage regulatory submissions.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, and financial analysis.
• Lead accounting team activities and ensure timely and accurate reporting.

Requirements

• Qualified Chartered Accountant (CA) – Mandatory. Incomplete CA qualifications will not be considered.
• Minimum 5 years of UAE experience in healthcare, medical insurance, or insurance accounting.
• Hands-on experience with CBUAE regulatory reporting and compliance .
• Strong knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and financial reporting standards.
• Experience in audit coordination, regulatory submissions, and insurance receivables.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and proficiency in Tally or ERP/accounting systems.
• Strong analytical, reporting, and team management skills.
• Candidates must currently be based in the UAE.

Preferred: TPA or medical insurance company experience, immediate availability, and a valid UAE driving license.
