Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting

About the role

The Senior Accountant - Financial Reporting is responsible for preparing and reviewing the Company's financial reports, ensuring the accuracy and timely submission of financial statements, and overseeing accounting activities. The position also reviews the work of the Junior Accountant and assists the CFO in financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and other accounting matters.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Monitor General Ledger balances and ensure accurate recording of transactions.
• Prepare account reconciliations and supporting financial schedules.
• Handle month-end and year-end closing activities.
• Review accounting entries and documents prepared by the Junior Accountant.
• Assist the CFO in financial analysis, budgeting, and reporting.
• Assist in BIR tax compliance and coordinate with auditors when needed.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of accounting reports.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy.
• At least 2–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Extensive hands-on experience in preparing and reviewing Financial Statements (FS).
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting and account reconciliation.
• Knowledge of BIR requirements and audit processes.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Able to work independently and guide a Junior Accountant.
• Willing to learn and work closely with the CFO.

Pay: Php25,000.00 - Php35,000.00 per month
