Senior Accountant — Healthcare Client (Toronto, Hybrid)

Our client, a Healthcare Provider and support services across Ontario, is hiring a Senior Accountant. Reporting to the Director of Finance, this role owns month-end close, financial consolidation, and management reporting for a multi-entity healthcare operation, working hands-on across QuickBooks, Sage, Workday, and AlayaCare in a hybrid role (one day per week in the Toronto head office).

Requirements:

• CPA designation (or in final stages) with 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
• Hands-on month-end and year-end close experience, including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations
• Financial consolidation experience across multiple entities or cost centres
• Management reporting: prepare monthly financial statements, variance analysis, and board-ready packages
• Working knowledge of QuickBooks and Sage (migrations or multi-system experience an asset)
• Experience with Workday Financials (reporting, allocations, or close modules)
• AlayaCare experience strongly preferred (home-healthcare billing/payroll integration)
• Healthcare or not-for-profit accounting experience an asset (inter company consolidations, MOH reporting)

Details:

• Salary: $90,000 – $110,000
• Location: Hybrid — 1 day/week in office (Toronto)
• Reports to: Director of Finance
• Full-time, permanent

Pay: $90,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
