We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team and oversee key accounting and financial reporting activities. Job Summary The Senior Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, preparing financial reports, supporting budgeting and forecasting activities, and ensuring compliance with applicable Chilean accounting and tax requirements. The ideal candidate will have strong technical accounting knowledge, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work independently in a technology-driven business environment. Key Responsibilities Manage and maintain accurate general ledger accounts and accounting records. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports. Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies. Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, expenses, and cash transactions. Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning. Monitor financial performance and provide relevant accounting analysis to management. Support month-end and year-end closing procedures. Ensure compliance with Chilean accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial policies. Coordinate documentation and information required for internal and external audits. Assist with tax-related reporting and statutory accounting requirements. Review financial transactions for accuracy, completeness, and proper classification. Help improve accounting processes, controls, and reporting procedures. Work with other departments to resolve accounting and financial issues. Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive financial information. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field . 4+ years of relevant accounting experience , with demonstrated senior-level responsibilities. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting. Knowledge of Chilean accounting and tax requirements . Experience with general ledger management, reconciliations, and month-end closing. Strong Microsoft Excel skills and experience working with accounting or ERP systems. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and priorities. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. High level of integrity and professionalism. Preferred Qualifications Experience with IFRS or other international financial reporting standards. Experience supporting audits and financial controls. Experience in technology, telecommunications, aerospace, agriculture, or another technical industry. Professional accounting certification or postgraduate qualification in accounting or finance. Experience with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting. Intermediate to advanced English skills are an advantage.
